FAQ & Trouble Shooting
DTF/FTG Print is lifting off the garment and transfer film is not releasing easily.
- 1.Boost the temperature by 10 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal results. Not all heat presses deliver precise temperatures, so choose wisely. Also, not all heat presses distribute heat evenly across the entire platen.
2. Increase the pressure to ensure full contact between the garment and the bottom platen. This guarantees a high-quality transfer.
3.Before lifting the transfer, make sure the garment is completely cold. If the adhesive hasn't fully cooled, it could stick to our cold peel film.
DTF/FTG Print has watermarks after pressing to the garment.
- Ensure to check the DTF transfer before proceeding. If the transfer feels oily, slimy, or wet, it is necessary to cure the transfer in order to remove any moisture from the film. Simply place the transfer under a heat press and bake it until the moisture evaporates. If you have access to a conveyor dryer, run the transfer through it to eliminate any excess moisture.
2.In case you have already pressed the transfer onto a garment, wipe the print with a clean cloth to remove any moisture and press it again.
Small lines or small details are staying on the DTF/FTG film and do not transfer to the garment.
Ensure the small details on the film have white ink for optimal transfer to the shirt. If the details lack white, they will not transfer properly. Increase the sizes of the small details and reprint for better results.
